NQ Annual Meeting 2019 For More Success In 2020

Welcoming year 2020, PT NewQuest Geotechnology held an annual corporate meeting at The Green Peak Hotel Bogor on 11-13 December 2019. Attended by all personnel, the meeting discussed the work program plan for 2020. In his remarks, Founder of PT NewQuest Geotechnology, Dr. Yunus Daud conveyed several strategic directions in order to face the year 2020 with enthusiasm, optimism, and increasing the capacity of the team and the company.

Among the messages he delivered; gratitude for the achievement of NewQuest in 9 years of operation, where NQ’s traces are already in more than 40 WKP, then a new activity plan in 2020 namely the NQ Academy which focuses on human resource development.

“We are currently wanting to develop business through collaboration with experts from domestic and abroad. So that in 2020, there must be an increase in capabilities, not only in the mastery of exploration technology but also drilling engineering and reservoir engineering.”, Yunus elaborated that NQ must prepare itself to play a maximum role in the success of the Government Drilling program, through this program 20 WKPs to drill by the government 2020-2024.

After the Pre-Feasibility Study in 3 WKP projects owned by PLN (Atadei, Songa Wayaua, and Tangkuban Parahu) are completed by the end of 2019, in the future NewQuest Geotechnology will target several exploration project with strategic partners. The plan is in accordance with the government’s plan to boost the renewable energy sector, especially geothermal energy.

NewQuest Geotechnology will also be more expansive in cooperation with other international companies for geothermal development in Asia and Africa.
