NQ Workshop: Journalism & Social Media

Nowadays, internet and digital technology play an important role in our world. We could find anything we want to know through internet. NewQuest Geotechnology (NQ) also concern about digital technology especially the role of Social Media to provide comprehensive information to the partners.

The applications of social media should be well understand by all NQ personnel. By integrating all NQ personnel social media with NQ programs, we could increase the engagement to NQ partners. To realize the idea, all of NQ personnel should know their roles so they could applied it in their personal social media.

Then, to follow up on the idea, the Business Development Division Team organized NQ Workshop entitled Journalism & Social Media. The workshop has been conducted on March 9-10, 2021 and was inviting Mr. Ifnaldi Sikumbang as the speaker, he is a NQ Professional Associate who has long experiences in media and public relation.

This workshop has been held in two days. The first day was discussing about social media and journalism. Then the speaker give a task to all NQ personnel to create content to social media. And the second day, the speaker review and give feedback about the tasks.

The speaker hopes that all of NQ personnel could be a NQ Ambassador through their personal social media by promoting NewQuest or Geothermal itself. Give the positive vibes to the people about NQ and this renewable energy of geothermal, and what it can do. And also provide information of NQ activities so far to gain more engagement either from government, industries, and public.
